If you wish to enrol on a course, please review the rules below and complete the form.

Course Rules and Deposit Form.

  • Only those actually booked on the course can attend. Attendees can arrive on site after 6pm on Sunday 18th to settle in if they wish. Please do not arrive before that time, as you may not be granted entry.

  • Children under 18 years of age are not permitted to visit the site or attend the course.

  • Dogs must be kept on lead unless working under the supervision of our staff, or in one of the designated exercise areas.

  • While you may want to bring your dog, since there will be many dogs with owners and handlers with varying levels of control, and both people and dogs will frequently be in close proximity, dogs who perform aggressive displays towards either people and/or dogs who do not represent an actual direct threat should not be brought. You will be working with real pet owners with their dogs, so this is not a course for you to bring your own dogs to have them ‘worked on.’

  • Your dog does not have to be crated while left in your room, but you will be responsible for the cost of any damage that either you or your dog does while on the site.

  • Any dog faeces must be picked up by the person responsible for the dog at the time, and disposed of in one of the designated waste bins.

  • Smoking is not permitted in any of the buildings or while participating in a training or lecturing session.

  • The total course fee is £1,495. This includes accommodation for those wanting to stay in one of the buildings, breakfasts and lunches, and teas and coffees throughout the day (for dinners, attendees will need to either self-cater or visit one of the numerous local eateries), all training, lectures and handouts.

  • Video and audio recording the course and/or parts of the course is not permitted. And the handouts that will be given out are for the attendees. Reproduction of and/or redistribution of course material to others is also not permitted.

  • Applicants wishing to secure one of the limited number of course places will need to first pay a non-refundable £500.00 deposit.

  • Attendees can if they prefer use the neighbouring campsite. Or you can camp on-site either in a tent or camper van.

  • Please enter your name and a contact number in case we need to contact you regarding the event you are booking.

  • Attendees completing the course will receive a diploma in canine behavioural training, and will be able to add the CIA logo to their website/merchandising, and will be able to use the post nominals Dip CBT. They will also be able to attend the private Zoom meetings for attendees only, and access the private Facebook group, which is a very active forum where all sorts of canine issues are discussed, and advice given.
