Why This Course?

There are so many online courses that are available now. But many of them are not complete. They don't give you enough information to be successful. Or they are so complex and require so much commitment from you as to be completely unrealistic in the real world, potentially resulting in failure.

So I decided that this course would be different. I have created a course that would give you access to the knowledge, skills and expertise that I have spent forty years developing, so that you would then be able to start up your own dog training business, if that is your wish. And for those of you who have a deep interest in how dogs and people learn, but who do not wish to run a training business, that the course would not be so complex and intense that it wouldn't be right for you too.

But I also recognised that there were fields in which my own knowledge fell short. So I recruited a group of experts that could fill those voids, ensuring that attendees received a course that is as far as I am aware, unique in terms of the levels and variety of effective and practical information provided. Between us, I believe that we now have an online course that will enable you to understand people and dogs like no other. A course that offers you sensible, effective and practical solutions to resolve training and behaviour issues in dogs, but also to better understand your clients - and most importantly, yourself.

How Will The Course Work?

Each attendee will send in a short video covering who they are, what their involvement is with dogs, and what they hope to gain from the course. These will then be able to be viewed by all attendees, allowing people to familiarise themselves with other attendees, thereby beginning to develop new relationships and connections.

Each week I will post a small selection of videos covering a variety of different topics. Ideally, you will watch them over the course of the week at your convenience. Then, at the end of the week you will have a group Zoom meeting with me where you will be able to have any questions that you may have answered. If you don't get the chance to watch them all by then, you will be able to watch them later, but when we have the next Zoom meeting, you may not be able to contribute as much. You will also be able to email myself or any of the other lecturers throughout the week if you have questions that you would like answered outside of the Zoom meetings. The last week of the course there will be a final Zoom meeting with all of the lecturers. Those completing the course will receive a diploma in canine behavioural training {DipCBT), and will be able to use those letters after their name on their stationary. They will also be able to use the CIA logo. They will also be given access to the very active private Facebook group for people who have completed a CIA course to network, ask questions etc. I also host periodical Zoom meetings for CIA attendees where we discuss various topics sent in to me by the members of the group.

The total cost for the entire course is just £995 and you can spread the cost with Klarna (subject to status) if you wish.
